Your Words are Powerful!

You may not be aware of how much power you have just in the words you use in your conversations. We all know how good we feel when someone compliments us. You have the power within you to make someone feel good just by what you say to them.

But did you know that a negative comment is 11 times more powerful than a positive one? Noted motivator, Zig Ziglar teaches that you may go up to someone and say, "I'm sick of the way you are doing this, why wasn't it done a different way?"

That may have made you feel better by venting, but you have just ruined that persons day and maybe the next 2-3 days. It all depends on how quickly 11 other people can come up to that person and provide an uplifting word. (11 people because negative is 11 times more powerful than positive.)

Assuming there are 11 cheerful people right around the corner. (Realistically, what are the odds of that happening?) Even if there are 11 people around the corner and they all say something positive, they are only going to be able to bring that person back to the level where they were before your negative comment.

Wow! You do have power! You can make someone's day or you can ruin it! What kind of a person are you? What kind of person would people say you are?

Do you want to use your power with words to make people feel good or do you want to use your power to make people feel miserable? Which is more likely to bring Glory to God?

"You might be the only Bible some people will ever read!"

Give us the Names!

Who were the Senators and Congressmen and Women who were willing to sign the Health Care Bill in its original form, before they left for the August break. We need all their names and we need to vote every last one of them out of office.

Let God back into our lives

This morning as I was doing my morning devotions, I pleaded with God and asked that He would 'rescue America' from the evil force that seems to be overtaking our country. What I heard from that still small voice was, "Why should I rescue America. You have removed me from the classroom and from the courtroom. You are even contemplating taking me off your money. Why indeed, should I Rescue America?"

I replied that in America there are still hundreds of thousands of God loving, God fearing Christian Americans, in spite of the 'pond scum' we have sent to Washington. But now, I think that instead of just asking God to 'Rescue America", we need to ask America to put God back into our schools and our courtrooms and stand up to the ACLU and AARP and our Congress. Get rid of those thugs and goons, and send some people to Washington who love America and love God more than they love Power and Control.

Killing off everyones grandma and grandpa.....for the greater good of society

Whoever could have thought that in these United States of America, we could ever elect a president who, along with his circle of thugs, would decide that a good way to keep costs of Medicare down is just to kill off all the old people? That way there will be more money for health care for all the illigals that they want to pay for.

Just about the time you are ready to retire and enjoy your grandchildren, Obama and his people, will be demanding that you think about how you are going to end your life. Every 5 years you will get more indoctrination and guilt heaped upon you for being alive and using resourses that the younger people might need.

It would not be much of a leap, and I'm sure they have thought of it, if too many of these every 5 year, counseling sessions pass by with no results, we will just be summoned for an appointment for a lethal injection.

What about the parents of the Senators and Congressmen and Congresswomen? Will they be spared or will they also be asked to please cooperate and get out of the way and make room for more illegals.

Please pray for God to rescue America!

But, get this, every 5 years there will be MANDATORY counseling to discuss choosing ways to end your life.

In the tank for Sarah Palin

Makes sense to me. She wasn't able to get any work done anymore for the state of Alaska. She is not quitting. She is not running away.

She is the only one who is not indebted to any of the screwballs in Washington. She has the courage to expose Obama and she has God walking with her.
